Capital Daily is independent local journalism for Greater Victoria. We're not part of a national chain. The newsroom is in Victoria. The bylines are people you can run into at the market. Our funding comes from members, newsletter sponsors, and partners we choose carefully. That structure is the reason this site can take its time with a story — and the reason we'd like you to consider joining.
