We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix them promptly and say what changed. That’s not a disclaimer — it’s how you know someone is paying attention.
Capital Daily is reader-supported and editor-accountable. We verify before we publish, cite our sources, and update guides and stories when conditions change. A correction is not an embarrassment; it is proof the page is maintained by humans who answer for what they wrote.
The desk reads every correction. If it checks out, we update the page and note what changed when the fix is material. Guide and food pages are re-walked on a regular cadence — your note can move that up the queue.
Email editor@capitaldaily.ca with the page link, what is wrong, and what you know to be true. A source helps — a photo of a closed door, a menu, a city notice — but plain language is enough.
For business listing updates (hours, website, claim a profile), use claim or update a listing.
For news tips or stories we should chase, email the desk at editor@capitaldaily.ca or see the team page.
