Saanich police want to find a white Jeep Cherokee with a smashed front end
A red Corolla was struck at Douglas and Saanich Road on Sunday night, and the other driver kept going.
Saanich police are looking for the driver of a white Jeep Cherokee who left the scene of a crash near Uptown on Sunday night.
Around 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, a red Toyota Corolla heading north on Douglas Street was hit in the intersection at Saanich Road by an eastbound vehicle. The Corolla driver wasn't injured, but the car took significant damage.
The Jeep left heading east on Saanich Road with heavy front-end damage of its own. Investigators believe the vehicle is a white Jeep Cherokee from the 2000s, and they're still working to identify it and its driver.
Anyone who saw the collision or was driving through the area with dashcam footage is asked to call Saanich police at 250-475-4321 and reference file 26-20893.
