Two juvenile wolves are working a Colwood golf course, and one tracked a deer past a townhouse
The Conservation Officer Service posted warning signs near Olympic View after sightings off Olympian Way and down in the Lagoon district below Royal Roads.

Two young wolves were spotted near the Olympic View Golf Club, and the BC Conservation Officer Service has signs up telling people to stay alert.
The service got the report on June 22, two days after the June 20 sighting near Olympian Way. The wolves haven't shown any aggressive behaviour, but officers are asking people to keep pets leashed, never approach, and give the animals plenty of room.
There was a second sighting too. In a post shared by the Colwood Community Association, Lagoon-district resident Tim Carver wrote that a wolf walked past his townhouse below Royal Roads, tracking a deer. "I didn't have my camera handy, but a wolf just walked by our townhouse just below Royal Roads property in the Lagoon district. He was tracking a deer. Keep an eye out," he wrote.
Conservation officers say they'll keep monitoring the area. Anyone who sees aggressive wolf behaviour should call the service at 1-877-952-7277.
